The Archives was created to house the entire databases from the three most prestigious Inuyasha awards groups, the Inuyasha Fanguild, Feudal Association, and A Single Spark. The site first opened in early 2007 with grand hopes and less than impressive coding skills. Due to the large amounts of pages to maintain, which exceeded well over two hundred, and a loss of interest, the Archives was closed in the fall of that same year.

However, due to an emerging interest in the challenge of databasing the pages and greater coding skills, the site was revived. The project is again ambitious, as the work should end only when the awards for the three respective groups are no longer active. Each award group is given a separate area within the site for their respective categories and ratings definitions. For matter of simplicity, rankings within the given year are not noted.

The database was hand-written by myself and contains several fields important to the maintenance of the site. However, some fields, such as the placement of winners and those who had won repeat awards during the same year, are not presented. All fanfictions are given equal status on the pages, and are merely arranged according to the title of the story. The inputation of every win within the same year is seen as redundant.

Also, the Best of Year category for the Inuyasha Fanguild is not presented, as the links are already available within those given years and categories. The quarter designation has also been eliminated to lessen the row content of the database, but may be added later.
